Sobada Treatment

Sobadas are a traditional Mexican healing practice focused on the abdomen and surrounding organs.

Rooted in generations of Indigenous medicine, sobadas involve palpation techniques used to support digestive health, reproductive wellness, emotional release, and somatic balance.

This deeply intuitive treatment honors the body’s natural rhythms and is often used to reposition organs, relieve increase circulation, and relieve abdominal conditions such as painful menstruation, PCOS and fibroid pain, urinary incontinence, rotated uteri, tight c-section scars, constipation and chronic gut malaise.

Sobadas can be both a physical and spiritual experience—supporting alignment, vitality, and connection to our ancestral ways of care.

Sobadas are not a form of licensed massage therapy, but an effective cultural practice often used to honor digestion, reproductive rhythms, and emotional wellbeing. Sessions may include prayer, breath work, or herbal supports, depending on individual needs and lineage.

*This offering does not replace medical or licensed therapeutic care.

Please Note:
Sobada sessions are not offered during menstruation. If you are currently on your period or expect to be at the time of your appointment, please reach out to reschedule. This practice is rooted in respect for the body's natural cycles and in alignment with traditional principles of abdominal health.

After you book, I will reach out with details on what to expect for your session.

Sessions are currently offered by donation on a sliding scale of $75–$100, as I continue to practice and integrate this modality into my offerings.

See you soon!
