Firstly, I want to acknowledge all of my teachers who have educated me in the dismantling of racism, cultural excavation, and trauma informed care within healing spaces.

A resounding thank you to Michelle Cassandra Johnson, Ana M. Hill, Penny Lyon, Sunny Healy, Rebeka Rose, Resmaa Menakem, Dr. Samuel Nez, and Dr. Lisa Martinez.

Thank you for teaching me to walk well and with integrity.

Hi! I’m’ Morgan

I founded Grounding Down in 2020 off the heels of an exhausting career in the corporate wellness world.

I knew there had to be a third way, so I made my own. What was first an online yoga membership quickly evolved into my holistic health practice that serves women and womb bearers.

As a perinatal consultant, childbirth educator, doula, and ERYT-500 yoga teacher, I believe women and the earth need each other. I am passionate about protecting our earth, and empowering women to reclaim their health and autonomy through aligning with inner and outer nature.

Over the past five years, I’ve had the honor of supporting dozens of families—helping them heal their fertility, advocate for empowered births on their terms, and navigate the wild postpartum landscape with care and guidance.

On the community front, Grounding Down has hosted countless workshops, community events, and sold-out domestic and international retreats, all with a focus on collective care, land reverence, and plant medicine.

Our mission: Remember Your Medicines.

We believe our most powerful lessons lie in community organizing, embodied health, and honoring ancestral medicines. Guided by the teachings of my Indigenous and European ancestors, I weave together my education in Mexican Curanderismo, plant medicine, and somatic healing to help others reconnect with their roots.

Outside of my practice, I nurture my inner artist through intimate, bespoke photoshoots and am slowly making my way back to painting (and more time off screens!) I live in the Rocky Mountains with my husband, our pups, 17 chickens, 2 ducks, and a budding beehive.

Welcome to the Grounding Down fam :)

Morgan
