Midsommar

The celebration of “Midsommar” honors the indigenous Norse people of Northern Europe, and their ceremonial attunement to the earth’s geographical cycles.

While I myself have no Norse blood, my partner, Christian, has ancestors that held these seasonal practices, for which our event is named.

Christian will guide a Rune ritual for participants to understand and embrace solstice energy through sigil recognition.

What is a
Baño Floral?

This tradition can be found across several global cultures, but is knows as a baño floral in my Mexikha heritage. It is from this lens that I will conduct this healing offering.

The baño will follow our movement session. After invigorating your body and grounding your spirit, you can opt to receive a crisp pour of floral water over your crown. Not dissimilar to being anointed, this pour acts as an energetic initiation into a new season of life.

The corresponding herbs and flowers steeping in the water are handpicked for their respective properties and powers. This is a refreshing and invigorating ritual to help you shed winter heaviness, and initiate energetic and cellular function for the spring frequency.

If you don’t want the floral bath on your head, you can opt to splash your face with the water instead :)
